The Truth about their Speed

For the last four years my ESP Athletics staff and I have worked hard to achieve one goal. That particular goal is to raise the level of competition in the community we serve.  We have serviced the Wheaton community and its youth the best way we know how through hard work, dedication in-which we instill in our athletes. There is no better example than the Wheaton Warrenville South Tiger Football program. In the last four years that my staff and I have been a partner with Ron Muitch and the Tiger program they have won the state’s top prize in two classes 8a and 7a Championship. They have also taken away a 2nd Place finish and a first round exit. In each of their state championship runs they were praised for their speed (hint) how fast they were to the ball and over all team speed. ESP has developed a team training system that works, and proven by the young men on the field where it really matters. When you think of speed training first thing that comes to mind is the 40yrd dash. Why?  A 40yrd dash shows how fast an athlete can run straight and without traffic. Now put that athlete in traffic it would look like an old school game of Frogger.  We teach our athletes to be better overall not to just run fast straight ahead but also lateral, diagonal with our three core principals Explosion, Speed and Power. These core principals you will see every time you play Wheaton Warrenville South Tiger. We spend each summer with the Tiger’s football team and every Monday of the year and playoffs developing their speed. So when the question is asked why are they so fast? ESP Athletics helps to develop their speed.
