Taylor Graham A Man On Top Of The World. By Ben Barry

On the way to OHIO STATE to play football.

 

It’s official, Wheaton North’s own Taylor Graham has become a Buckeye. The quarterback signed his National Letter of Intent on Tuesday, February 2nd surrounded by his family, friends, and coaches. Graham joined 18 man recruiting class that was ranked as high as 20th in the nation by Fox Sports. He is the university’s only prospect from the state of Illionis He cited the school’s great atmosphere and academics as his reasoning. Also, Taylor claimed that by signing his letter, he was “completing a childhood dream of playing college football”.

Though both his varsity seasons were cut short by disappointing injuries, Graham’s recruiting stock shot through the roof last spring as he attended several combines and team camps. Coaches undoubtedly took notice of his 6’4 frame, rocket right arm, and football pedigree. His father, Kent, spent a decade as a quarterback in the National Football League.

As for now, Graham must focus on training and improving his athletic and football skills to compete for the starting job at Ohio State. Incumbent quarterback Terrelle Pryor is projecte
