ESP Athletics partners with Wheaton Park District...

Wheaton Park District Teams Up with ESP Athletics

Since 2003, ESP Athletics has earned a reputation for being a premier leader in professional sports development and training of young athletes. In the pursuit to encourage healthy, active lifestyles in children and young athletes, ESP Athletics would like to extend their services to the members of the  Wheaton Park District and associated facilities.

ESP Athletics Lisle has partnered with one of the largest park districts in Illinois, Wheaton Park District, to add more programs for their youth leagues and members.  ESP Athletics will be offering speed conditioning, weight lifting,  and basketball classes with in a four week span. All classes will teach the proper technique for lifting and drills that are useful in any sport. Opening day event will be held July 15th between 6:30pm-9pm at Wheaton Warrenville South High School. ESP Athletics will have a demonstration of all classes, a video, and will answer any questions from visitors. Classes will officially start July 21st through  August 15th, Monday through Friday; and held at both Wheaton Warrenville  South High School and Wheaton North High School.   Classes will be offered from 4pm-9pm age from 10 years old and up; separating each class by grade level. Each class will be a 5-1 athlete to coach  ratio, an ESP rule, to make sure each athlete receives the individual attention  that is needed to learn proper technique.

This will be a great opportunity for the community of Wheaton to interact with ESP Athletics. Not only will ESP train each athlete, each athlete will learn the value of hard work to become a leader. The drills and technique can be used throughout the athlete’s career to potentially receive an athletic scholarship. Former Wheaton Warrenville South football players such as Will Matte, Jim Nelson, and Danny Dierking have utilized ESP Athletics to improve their overall speed, strength, and athletic ability to prepare them for the collegiate level of competition.
